The rollout of the Redmi Note 11 lineup only recently concluded, but Xiaomi is already working on the next generation of Redmi Note. The timeline for the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series was leaked online, and here is what it reveals.
The renowned phone leaker DigitalChatStation reports that once Xiaomi closes out the Redmi K50 series for the year, the next series in line for release will be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12.
You can expect the Redmi Note 12 phones to debut in the second quarter of 2022, following the Redmi K50 Gaming, K50 Pro, and K50.
The phone leaker didn't specify the exact date, but Xiaomi's New Note model launch should fall between April and June. Redmi Note 12 lineup will feature at least two models: the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi 12 Note Pro+ codenamed "L16" and "L16U," respectively. It presumably includes the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12S, too, based on the current Note lineup.
It's too early to report the specifications. But rumor has it that Xiaomi is switching to Qualcomm silicon from the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip inside the Redmi Note 11 Pro. We'll keep you posted as the story develops.
