Redmi Note 14 Series Launching in Pakistan Tomorrow; All You Need to Know

Usama Rasool

Redmi has unleashed the Note 14 series worldwide, and Pakistan is next on the list to welcome these newcomers. We reported before that Xiaomi has slated the Note 14 and Note 14 Pro launch for January 15, and the company still stands by it with the countdown now hitting zero in one day.

This duo has been teased with some of its top features on social media, but the one they mentioned over and over is All-Star Durability. It combines at least three aspects. An IP68 rating means it is safe from water and dust. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 shall save the screen and All-Star Armor even makes the phone drop-safe and rigid.

Redmi Note 14 and Note 14 Pro have already wet their feet in some Asian and European waters, so we now have the full picture in front of us from everything about their specs to prices.

Redmi Note 14 Pro

This Note 14 Pro (global) model has an AMOLED 120Hz and a 6.67” size. Its peak brightness is 1800nits, more than you could ever ask for on a midrange phone. Xiaomi has also tested it for IP68 rating, so it’s waterproof and safe from dust ingress.

Redmi Note 14 Pro comes in either 5G or 4G, but each has a different pack of internals and IP ratings. It’s unclear from Redmi’s local website which device will land here, but know that the 4G variant is Helio G100 Ultra with an IP64 rating, and 5G has an IP68 rating with Dimensity 7300 Ultra.

The good thing is that either variant gets you the same 200MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) setup on the back. 45W wired charging and a 5500mAh battery keep things powered up inside the 4G option. The 5G one has a smaller 5110 mAh battery. From what we hear, the global Note 14 Pro is $299 (~PKR 82,000) for the starter option. The Pakistani price will be around the ballpark.

Redmi Note 14

Its 4G variant might be coming to Pakistan, so a Helio G99 Ultra is expected here. Redmi Note 14 has a flat-screen 6.67” AMOLED with the same 120Hz refresh and 1800nits max brightness. Of course, the resolution is also the same at 1080p with Gorilla Glass 5.

Note 14 4G is IP54 protected, so it’s safe from minor water splashes and dust ingress. Its camera is 108 MP main with no ultrawide. Instead, you get a 2 MP depth and 2 MP macro. That selfie camera is 20 MP and because this is a low-end chip, all it can do is 1080p videos.

The charging speed will be slower here at 33W, but the good news is that its battery size is the same at 5500 mAh. Note 14’s base price is $199 globally (~PKR 55,000). Again, its price in Pakistan could be in the same price bracket, give or take a few bucks subject to local taxes. Redmi Note 14 and 14 Pro have under-screen Fingerprint IDs, Android 14, and Dual Speakers too. Only a few hours are left for the series’ Pakistani launch, so we’ll soon know exactly how affordable these devices are for our market.
