Nokia 6 Design:
Nokia 6 has got some new looks with the bezels but the overall appearance of the device has absorbed the style earlier Lumia design. Aluminum body with mysterious matte black finish provides an extra beauty to the device while it also gives you that special durability feeling while holding it in your hands.
The handset is made out of single Aluminum sheet without mixing any foreign material. On top of it Nokia 6 is abrasion & corrosion resistance and also prevents Anti-oxidation.
Every brand of today engraves its logo on the front but Nokia has kept the same old space to place their logo on top right corner of the screen. Honestly it does look amazing as you graze the first look at it. Overall design consists of thick borders, with square design and slight bezels.
6’s Display:
Speaking of Nokia 6‘s display, 5.5 inches IPS LCD is laid on the front as the capacitive touchscreen. The screen can project a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at a pixel per inch density of 403 ppi. It also sports multi-touch that comes in handy while playing those sturdy robust games.
16M colors are part of the combo which randomly fill the screen pixels as per the display needs. Further the display is well protected by the corning gorilla glass 3 to prevent it from scratches or damage while cracking walnuts on the floor 🙂
Nokia Security:
Fingerprint sensor is also embedded in home button to make your virtual life safe from the potential threats. Although Nokia is conservative in its designs but this time the finish giant have broken all the barriers and have tweaked several popular designs to finish the new 6 by Nokia. Fingerprint recognition module is placed on the front of fuselage just below the display. Same is also used to return back to home screen.
Camera of Nokia 6:
One thing to remember here is that Nokia have not launch its flagship product yet but rather Nokia 6 is the very first smartphone from the Finish giant on his return to the smartphone arena. Still the newcomer is equipped very well with a 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera. Both cameras supports phase focus technology, which is very rare to see in a mid-range smartphone. While taking images with 16 million pixel camera many have reported a lag in the auto-focus as the focusing speed is not as fast as it should be. Don’t get too annoyed by the auto-focusing delays coz after taking a picture the results will surely astonish you.
Hardware:
Almost every other thing is perfect in Nokia 6 except for using a low-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset (MSM8937), which is the only drawback of this handset. Octa-core processor does its best on bridging the gap and adding some extra power to the chipset so you won’t feel any glitches in the performance.
The processing speed of processor is 1.4 GHz while Cortex A53 also helps in an optimized battery consumption yet producing maximum output. Adreno 505 GPU is also placed right next the to CPU chipset that works in coordination with main CPU for handling the graphics load while playing games. There’s only one variant available at this time offered with 64 GB built-in storage along with 4 GB of RAM.
The benchmark tests does not reflect the results as we were expecting. Overall result showed that 6 by Nokia scored 44517 which is not a good number but it certainly does not mean that performance is as bad. Nokia 6 is a reliable multitasker for daily routine tasks.
