July 2024 update has reached Samsung Galaxy A03. Two years old, and this model still has security updates coming its way. Samsung remains committed to its cause. July update is a crucial patch for all Galaxy devices as they found dozens of newly discovered vulnerabilities in the current firmware.
‘SM-A035F’ is the only Galaxy A03 variant getting the July 2024 security patch. For now, anyway. It’s the international model, by the looks of it. That means it’s currently in rotation around the world. Galaxy A03 owners in multiple countries are installing the update as we speak.
Galaxy A03 owners in Pakistan can check the update’s availability through Settings » Software update » Check for Updates. If the new firmware is in, you’ll get the menu for ‘Download and Install’ with the changelog. Tap on it and let your A03 take care of the rest.
‘A035FXXS7CXF3’ is the firmware currently doing rounds for the international Samsung 4G new mobile. There aren’t many changes in the performance side of things. But, this has patches for over 58 system vulnerabilities discovered in the old firmware.
Galaxy A03 broke cover in 2022. It’s almost two years old at the moment. It started with Android 11 One UI 3.1, and they’ve upgraded it to One UI 5.1 x Android 13 till now. July 2204 patch is one of its biannual security updates, and there are no major OS updates to expect. Alas, it has reached the end of the road with nothing but a few security patches left.
