The Galaxy A03s is the latest upcoming entry-level phone from Samsung. It has been making headlines for several months. And the official debut is just around the corner now since the support page for the Samsung Galaxy A02s' successor was featured on the brand's official website yesterday.
Samsung Galaxy A03s is listed on Samsung India’s site under the model number ‘SM-A037F/DS.’ Several public certifications confirm that this number belongs to the A03s. Since it’s a dummy support page, it doesn’t contain any relevant information. For that, we can turn to the string of leaks preceding this web page.
If the leaked product images from @Onleaks are any guide, the A03s design hasn’t changed from last year. We’re looking at a notched screen with a hefty chin and a curved plastic shell with a generic rectangle-shaped camera housing.
No word on the Samsung mobile price yet but the brand has built a thumbprint reader into the Galaxy A03s — a much-needed and welcome addition. The dimensions of the build have not changed, however. At 9.1mm of depth, the phone still has a heavy footprint.
As always, the internal specs of the A03s aren’t competitive enough against the flood of budget phones coming out of China. The phone has the old-gen MediaTek Helio G35 at its heart, powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 15W fast charging. You get 4GB of memory and the latest Android11-based OneUI.
The Galaxy A03s screen (presumably 720P) measures 6.5” across and houses a 5MP selfie camera in its notch. Mounted on its back is a triple-camera, led by a 13MP wide lens. We’ll have the pricing to report when the phone launches in the coming weeks.
