The Galaxy A03s was quietly launched in Pakistan yesterday in two storage options. Samsung's entry-level Galaxies have finally caught up with the modern smartphone and now offer fingerprint security.  We’ll take a look at what the Galaxy A03s has to offer.

Not much has changed in the way of design since the last generation. To start, we’re looking at a 6.5” notched display. Samsung Galaxy A03s has a TFT panel with a 720P resolution, so expect poor viewing angles and contrast ratio. Its shell, made from polycarbonate, curves along all four sides.

Samsung Galaxy A03s comes in three matte finishes: blue, white, and gray. Since the fingerprint scanner is built into the power button, a single tap awakes and unlocks the Galaxy A03s. At 196g of weight and 9.1mm of depth, the phone has a lot of heft.

Three lenses and an LED flash are housed inside a squarish camera platform. We’re looking at a cluster of 13MP, 2MP portrait, and 2MP macro lenses. The front camera has a modest 5MP sensor behind it. The phone can shoot in portrait mode but not in night mode.

As always, Samsung is reluctant to outright name the chipset inside the Galaxy A03s. But it’s reportedly the generations-old MediaTek Helio P35. You get 4GB/3GB of memory and 32GB/64GB of internal storage, expandable up to a terabyte.

Everything is powered by a 5000 mAh battery without any fast charging. The feature has become typical of entry-level Android phones. OneUI Core — the reduced version of the original OneUI — runs on the Galaxy A03s out of the box. As far as the Samsung phone prices are concerned, The baseline edition starts at Rs. 21,200, and the top-end variant costs Rs. 22,499.
