Samsung has officially begun springing in the next generation Galaxy-A handsets in Asia. Galaxy A04 and A04e mark the homecoming of an entirely new era of A-series smartphones. The models are almost at the climax of their Global release cycle, indicating A14 and A14 5G's nearing unveil.
Galaxy A04 and A04e will be available for retail in Pakistan shortly. Since the models are now officially released in India, their arrival here seems inevitable and close. The models were unveiled at affordable Samsung prices yesterday; the same could be true for Pakistan upon launch.
The newcomers are similar in appearance, which means identical screens. They feature a 6.5-inch PLS display with Full HD+ resolution and an Infinity-V waterdrop notch. The screen looks immersive, even though chunky black bars and a thin lip envelop the view.
In its dual-camera setup, Galaxy A04 uses a 50MP prime lens to take photos with a 2MP depth sensor. A 5MP camera lives under the notch for instant selfies. The device carries MediaTek Helio P35 under the helm, which draws power from a 5000mAh cell.
64GB and 128GB storage options are available for the Galaxy A04, both aligned with 4GB RAM. Users will find support for microSD expandable storage with Android 12 pre-installed. A04 starts at $145 (~PKR 32,800), shipping in shades of black, copper, and green.
Samsung Galaxy A04e
Since the newcomers bring a similar build, A04e's display stats align with A04; a 6.5-inch PLS display with Full HD+ resolution and an Infinity-V waterdrop notch. Both their refresh rates are capped at 60Hz.
Though the phones mirror each other in many provinces, their camera setups are worlds apart. Galaxy A04e has a measly 13MP alpha sensor backed by a 2MP depth mapper. The selfie shooter is standard on both models (5MP). Teaming with a 5000mAh cell, Galaxy A04e boasts a MediaTek Helio P35 engine.
Both models have 15W recharge speeds, though the memory configurations on A04e are different. Three formats on the A04e pair 3GB RAM with 32GB/64GB storage and 4GB with 128GB storage. Featuring Android on the inside and similar-to-A04 colors on the outside, A04e begins at $113 (~PKR 25,600).
