Samsung's Galaxy A05 is electrifying the internet as it gears up for a potential launch in various markets this month. Following its appearance on Geekbench, where it underwent performance testing, speculation suggests that Samsung is preparing for an official announcement in the coming days.

Bluetooth SIG certification previously unveiled the model numbers SM-A055F, SM-A055F/DS, SM-A055M, and SM-A055M/DS, all belonging to the same device. It also confirmed Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity for these models. The Geekbench listing now offers a peek into some key specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A05's Geekbench entry reveals a MediaTek Helio G85 processor at its core, marked by the code MT6769V/CZ. It is a significant upgrade from the Helio P35 chip mounted inside its predecessor, Galaxy A04.

Notably, the Samsung's latest 4G mobile will boast 4GB of RAM and run on the full-fledged version of Android 13 rather than the Core edition. For those unaware, Galaxy A0X devices typically have insufficient RAM and storage to run the Full-OneUI OS. So the company uses an optimized lightweight operating system called OneUI Core.

With the upgraded processor and base RAM upgrade, the A05 will now flex the Full feature-baked OneUI 5 overlay. As for the device's performance, Geekbench gives it a score of 416 and 1303 for Single-core and Multi-core tests, respectively.

Furthermore, the Galaxy A05's appearance on the Wi-Fi Alliance's database affirms support for dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. While certifications from platforms like BIS and FCC have provided no concrete details about its specifications, the mounting anticipation for the Galaxy A05 suggests that more information will become official soon.
