We hear the Galaxy A05s has lept into another update cycle. Their June 2024 security package was long overdue. We’d hoped they would do it by the month’s end. And that they did. You’ll see the June patch in your ‘Software Update’ settings shortly.
Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and New Zealand are the lucky ones where the update reached early. Right now, it’s only live there. But Pakistani Galaxy A05s users don’t need to hold their breath long. These are the things to look forward to (as soon as the update reaches here).
‘SM-A057F,’ called the international model, is up for an OTA package marked with this series number: A057FXXS4CXF1. We talked about it before. And most of us already know. Over 59 security fixes came with this June patch for every Galaxy phone. And so does the A05s.
To update your Samsung budget new mobile, you need to do these steps. Settings are where you’ll head first. Navigate to Settings » Software update » and Check for Updates. Tap Download and Install, and then let the A05s reboot. That’s how you enter the A057FXXS4CXF1 firmware.
There aren’t any software improvements this time if you were hopeful. They might have killed some bugs to make One UI stable. But you can’t expect more from an update like this. But there are still more updates to come. So you can watch out for those, at least.
