Last time, there was no 5G version for the Galaxy A05. That’s why it’s surprising to see the Samsung Galaxy A06 getting a secondary alternative for 5G prevalent regions. This device was launched in August as a 4G-only model, and later on, it also debuted in Pakistan. Right now, Galaxy A06’s price on the offical Samsung PK store is Rs 35,199.
Coming back to today’s story, Galaxy A06 5G just got leaked by a tipster over on X, who shared almost all of the phone’s specs in his post. The source behind this leak is the forever credible Sudhanshu Ambhore, painting a vivid picture of what to expect from A06’s 5G version.
From what we’ve heard from the leaker, A06 5G might be using a 6.7” LCD panel, no fancy resolution, just your average HD+ 720p pixel arrangement. He does claim a 90Hz refresh rate, which seems to be a new upgrade exclusive to the 5G variant only. No other major display updates were claimed by the leaker in his post.
He also shared the chipset model used for the new budget Samsung mobile. As it happens, Samsung is going with the Dimensity 6300 chip you see in most entry-level 5G devices. It will be a big performance gain for the device compared to the 4G-only variant.
We also found the same chip on Geekbench’s database a few weeks ago, and that’s how we know the tipster’s claims are right. WiFi Alliance’s certificate for Galaxy A06 5G is also proof that it’s inevitably coming to the market sometime in the next few weeks.
Sudhanshu reported its camera details as well. Galaxy A06 5G is supposed to carry a primary 50 MP first sensor and a 2 MP depth mapper for assistance. The selfie camera on the front side will be 8 MP, resting under the notch. These specs are the same as the Galaxy A06 4G.

It’s also possible that this 5G handset will give you access to three storage options with 4GB or 6GB RAM wired to 64GB and 128GB storage. the 5G variant of the Samsung A06 will keep the 5000mAh battery and 25W charging from the original variant, and also give you the very same mono-speaker, Side fingerprint reader, 8mm profile, etc. We can’t confirm nor deny whether the details are accurate until Samsung announces them officially.
