Samsung Galaxy A06 Design Remains Unchanged; Leaked Images Confirm

Samsung Galaxy A06 has plenty in common with the old A05 on paper. They have the same chipset and specs (reported by Geekbench). And now we hear the designs are also identical. Is this phone an upgrade at all? Here’s the lowdown of everything you need to know.

Evan Blass posted some high-quality renders on Twitter/X and gave away the design of the new Galaxy A06. It seems everything’s the same down to the color palette. Those camera modules are slightly bigger than before, but nothing else has changed as far as the eye can see.

Galaxy A06 will retail in Silver and Black hues, common with the old A05. Even the pinstripe texture we saw with the successor is here for the A06. Leaked renders from July showcased a Black variant of this phone. That might also be in the running.

Geekbench results from earlier were descriptive of Samsung's upcoming mobile’s specifications. From what we gather, this phone has the same old Helio G85 chip. It is 2.0GHz, running eight cores, and enables 4G connectivity only. The benchmarked variant was a 4GB Galaxy A06.

We remain ever optimistic about a 6GB RAM option like before. Of course, it is a 2024 device, so there’s Android 14 x OneUI 6 at boot. You can also expect a 6.7” IPS display and HD+ resolution for the screen, a 5000mAh battery running the hardware, plus there’s likely up to 15W charging speed.
