There goes another certificate for the Samsung Galaxy A06. This model is making good progress. Geekbench listed this one just last week. But we look to the FCC now, who cleared the A06 for launch in the USA. There’s nothing to celebrate, though, because it’s just a reaffirmation of how underwhelming that phone is.
FCC is more a clearance for the phone’s battery size than anything else. We read a 4855 mAh power source on the file. Their typical capacity is 5000 mAh, so that figure on the file is just a round-off away. Again, there’s nothing out of the ordinary about it. A05 before it had the same quintessential battery.
4G LTE, that’s all you get with the A06. We heard from Geekbench that there’s a Helio G85 in it. It’s not a flashy SoC, just your usual, cheap, and underrated chip. But it will get the job done. And, MALI G52 (the integrated GPU) is ok as a graphics chip.
We learned more from FCC to build on the roster even more. There were essentials in the file. Dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are a part of Samsung's latest budget model specs sheet, but nothing surprising. It is the stuff they use all the time on their phones.
One last bit of info before we wrap this up. FCC ratted out the dimensions A06 has. Well, the length is 167.3, the usual slab form. The width is 77.31. We know that it scored at least 6 GB RAM and Android 14. Then, the confirmation of a Helio G85 also came from the Geekbench.
