Samsung is offering exciting discounts on two of its smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy A12. The A12 is an affordable phone available in two storage variants. Both of which received price cuts, making the phone even more value-friendly. The flagship Z Fold 2 is on the cutting-edge of foldable phones, and its price just dropped by a vast margin.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G
The Z Fold2 5G launched at an eye-watering Rs. 340,000, but after a whopping discount of Rs. 70,000, it now starts from Rs. 270,000. For this price, Samsung offers you the self-labeled future of mobile.
The Z Fold2 smoothes over the many bugs the original Fold presented. Its hinge is sturdier, the screen more durable, and the overall design much more consistent. Its screens, both AMOLED panels, deliver a QHD+ resolution (the cover panel is protected with Gorilla Glass.) The main screen refreshes at 120Hz.
Both displays have hole-punches containing 10MP cameras. The rear camera is made of three 12MP lenses, meant for wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto shots. Galaxy Z Fold2 has a side-facing thumbprint scanner, dual speakers, and NFC but no audio jack.
It all runs on the Snapdragon 865+ and a 4500 mAh battery. It can fast-charge at 25W over a wire and at 11W wirelessly. The Z Fold2 comes in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colors.
Samsung Galaxy A12
First off, the 64GB base variant of the Galaxy A12 had been retailing for Rs. 28,999. You can now save up to Rs. 1,799 on this budget phone, since the price was marked down to Rs. 27,200. The Galaxy A12 128GB edition gets a discount of Rs. 3,249, bringing its price down from Rs. 32,999 to Rs. 29,750.
We start with the Galaxy A12 display — a 6.5” IPS LCD that delivers a 720P resolution. A notch bleeds into this screen, containing an 8MP front camera. Around the back, the shell has a subtle duo-tone finish with a box-shaped camera island. Laid out inside this casing are a 48MP main lens, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and two 2MP depth and macro sensors.
The build, available in black, white, blue, and red shades, features a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC support, and a USB-C port. It’s all powered by the low-performance Helio P35 chip, Android11, and a 5000 mAh battery. 15W technology is used to charge the Galaxy A12.
