A publication based in Korea just leaked the camera details for the successor of the Samsung Galaxy A12. The A13 has already been making headlines for the past few weeks now. And it’s supposedly debuting either in November or December.
The Elec reports that the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G features a quad camera. This array is led by a 50MP wide AF camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and two 2MP cameras. GalaxyClub specified this same 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor back in September. It’s not a big step up from the 48MP camera on the Galaxy A12 in either case.
Inside a waterdrop notch, we find an 8MP front camera. The notch bleeds into a 6.48” panel that delivers a 1080P resolution. The cameras stick out the shell without special housing. Samsung has also embedded a side-facing fingerprint scanner into the frame that doubles as the power button.
The engine inside the Galaxy A13 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 700, the cheapest 5G chip that MediaTek makes. It’s powered by a 5000 mAh battery and 25W rapid charging.
It’s combined with 4GB/6GB/8GB of memory for multitasking and 64GB/128GB internal storage options. The Galaxy A13 5G allegedly starts at a Samsung mobile price tag of $249 (~ Rs. 42,200.)
