Another one of their entry-tier phones is jumping on the October patch bandwagon after Samsung updated all of its Galaxy S24 family in the past few days. It’s Galaxy A13’s turn to receive this month’s brand-new patch that cleans up a few security issues on the One UI OS.
They have deployed this October patch in Asian regions from the get-go in countries like Malaysia or Indonesia, but don’t worry because this update will drop in Pakistan in due course. You’ll grab the same new firmware on your Galaxy A13 soon.
Part of this upgrade is security optimations, and the firmware version you can identify it with is ‘A135FXXS9EXI2.’ You can fetch the OTA package by visiting Settings on your phone. Then, you can navigate to the Software Update section at the bottom of the menu and press Check for Updates.
Let it scan for available update packages, and once it finds this October patch, a prompt will open where you press the ‘Download and Install’ button, and after a while, your Samsung latest budget phone will reboot. It’s as easy as that.
Galaxy A13 was only on the roster for two OS updates, and the current Android 14 is probably the end for it, but of course, there are some patch updates left. This may be the right time for A13 users to switch, and what could be better than Galaxy A16, getting service for the next 6 years till Android 20.
