The 4G variant of Samsung Galaxy A14 is under R&D. If you can recall, the Inc. launched A14 5G at the start of this year, starting at a high ~229 EUR price tag. Non-5G disposition in underdeveloped areas halted the 5G variant’s arrival in many regions. A14 4G will soon go official to cure it.
The 4G newcomer popped up on the Google Play Console listing, finally lifting its status from mystery to confirmed. The document has no model number, just the moniker “Galaxy A14.” The SoC under the phone’s hood proves its 4G nature.
The details on Console verify that A14 4G has a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with two ARM Cortex A75 cores clocked at 2GHz and six A55 cores at 1.8GHz. The chipset incorporates Mali G52 GPU (950MHz) for graphics.
In other details, the Console listing showcased Galaxy A14 4G’s display stats, RAM, and Android version. According to re, the Samsung budget new model's panel has a Full HD+ resolution at 1080 x 2408 pixels, 450DPI, Android 13 support, and up to 4GB of RAM. It's pretty much all there is to know from the Console.
The 4G sequel might bring the same chassis, design, and display stats as the original A14. For reference, the Galaxy A14 5G launched with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ panel and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has three main cameras, one with a 50MP sensor and the others acting as auxiliary.
Moving to the front, A14 has a drop notch hiding a 13MP selfie shooter. The bezels are non-uniform and chunky. By default, it has Android 13 x OneUI 5.0 running on it. Its additional features are; a 3.5mm audio port, Type-C support, an SD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 15W charging, and a 5000mAh juicer. It hasn’t been launched in Pakistan yet, though its forerunner is available here, Samsung Galaxy A13 is priced at 57,999 PKR.
