Samsung has a new A-series mid-range underway. Dubbed Galaxy A14 5G, the phone has been making headlines on the internet for the past few weeks. Within that time, A14 appeared on the Geekbench scoreboard and visited multiple certification links. It even has a support page added to a foreign Samsung link.
Samsung Galaxy A14’s latest visit to Google Play Console leads to one conclusion; launch must be around the corner. Galaxy A14 appeared on the console with a system-on-chip codenamed “Samsung S5e8535.” The number & architecture setting of the chip indicates an all-new Exynos 1330 SoC.
As revealed by its listing, the chip contains two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, which should translate to standard mid-class performance. It has an Integrated Mali-G68 GPU clocked at 950MHz.
The document entails an FHD+ (2400 x 1080p) resolution at 450DPI on Galaxy A14 5G. The screen will bear a drop-notch to hold the selfie shooter. the upcoming addition to the Samsung rate list will boast up to 6GB RAM, with the possibility of more than one memory option. Lastly, the list mentions Android 13 as the default OS on A14.
On a regional basis, Galaxy A14 also abounds a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, as proven by a former Geekbench listing. The chipset is less potent than Exynos 1330 SoC in graphics processing.
Multiple reports on the internet indicate the Galaxy A14 5G will feature a 6.5-inch screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. For selfies, there may be a 13-megapixel front camera. Featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera on its rear, it awaits the OneUI 5.0 flavor of Android 13 out of the box. It will likely use a 5,000mAh battery to power the phone and have 15W power delivery backing it up. Its precursor, Samsung Galaxy A13's retail price starts at Rs. 43,999 in Pakistan while the 128GB storage variant costs almost Rs. 48,000.
