Once again, the Korean manufacturer's budget-oriented 5G catalog is about to expand with the addition of Galaxy A14 5G. The brand recently indexed Samsung A new model, A14 on Wi-Fi Alliance certifications. The listing reveals the model number "SM-A146P" and its Wi-Fi traits.

The listing shows the upcoming Samsung Galaxy 14 5G's antenna bands a/b/g/n/ac supporting 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. Moreover, A13's successor will launch as one of the first devices with the Android 13 Operating System right out of the box.

The certification doesn't reveal anything from its hardware manifest. However, in an immediate follow-up, the rumor mill has shared a brief list of A14 features that seems quite promising. Have a look.

Galaxy A14 5G, allegedly, has a big IPS 6.8-inch display spanning corner-to-corner with FHD+ resolution. In contrast, the former 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy A13 carried a 720p display with standard 6.5-inch screen size. With Samsung's history, the enhanced size and resolution will drastically bump the newcomer's cost.

In addition, Samsung presumably plans to launch the Galaxy A14 exclusively with 5G meaning no 4G variant this time. The phone's SoC, battery, and memory configuration are still a mystery. About a week ago, Galaxy A14's renders appeared on the web, denuding a type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There's an apparent U-shaped notch on top and a thick chin.

Volume rockers and the power button reside on the right side, followed by camera units designed in the S23's alleged blueprint. In theory, A14 5G is bound to launch side-by-side with Galaxy A04e and M04, the brand's upcoming entry-level duo. Samsung Galaxy A14 5G's price is still under wraps, but it's to debut as the chain's cheapest 5G smartphone.
