Samsung Galaxy A15 4G Pops Up on Geekbench; Hints at SoC and RAM

A fresh scoop on Samsung's Galaxy A15 4G model has just hit the digital streets, thanks to its appearance on a well-known benchmarking site. Here's the review of what's shaping up to be an enticing mid-tier phone.

Having made a cameo on GeekBench, the Galaxy A15 4G drops some crumbs about its DNA. The phone draws power from the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, flanked by a solid 4GB RAM. This combination propelled the device to score 743 and 2,005 points in the single and multi-core tests, respectively.

But that's not all. The A15 4G wears Android 14 OS with Samsung's signature One UI skin right off the shelf. While Samsung keeps the deets under wrap, the rumor mill's been busy ratting out the phone’s specs. The leaked renders we scoped out a while ago vouch for a triple-camera setup on its back.

Rolling back a year, Samsung pulled the wraps off the Galaxy A14, spinning it out in 4G and 5G flavors. Samsung might echo history, launching a 5G sibling for the A15 with a thicker price tag in mind. No matter the network, the Samsung's latest budget mobile’s specs should be comparable to the predecessor's.

For context, the previous A14 5G dazzled with a Dimensity 700 SoC, up to 6GB RAM, a spacious 128GB storage, and a robust 50-megapixel triple cam setup, all fueled by a 5,000mAh battery powerhouse. The A15 4G's spec sheet might mirror much of this, minus the 5G connectivity.

In essence, Samsung's Galaxy A15 4G is donning to be a head-turner in the mid-range arena. With MediaTek Helio G99, up to 4GB of RAM, and Android 14 behind the scenes, it will outshine all the forerunners in the company’s Galaxy A1X roster.
