Samsung Galaxy A16 4G Prepares for Launch with One UI Testing in Full Swing

What you see in this one is proof that One UI for Samsung Galaxy A16 4G is under test. By the way, this wouldn't be the first time we saw A16 on an official channel. There were 3C and Geekbench reports earlier for the 5G A16 that had some details.

Galaxy A16 One UI firmware passed the testing. That's why they updated their OTA database with its firmware code. 'A165FXXU0AXH7' is the software build code they used for One UI Galaxy A16. For now, at least, we can't be sure if they based it on Android 15.

Android 14 was the latest at the time Galaxy A15 came along. As a rule of thumb, we feel optimistic that the Galaxy A16 should be a One UI 7 (Android 15). Geekbench had it tested with Android 14. But we can't deny there is a chance they only used it for testing an A16 prototype.

There was at least the confirmation of SoC at the Geekbench. Samsung's newest budget mobile shoots for entry-level, 967, and 1971 scores, allowed by the cheapest 5G-enabled SoC called Dimensity 6300. A 4G alternate to that engine would be a Helio G99.

Now that we are on the topic of internal, you ought to know what the rumor mill has come up with. Galaxy A16 5G should be an AMOLED phone. Chances are that there will be a FHD 6.6" panel. It will be nothing short of 90Hz.
