Samsung’s Galaxy A15 is old news now. We hear the company is working on its successor. It has already made a cameo on a local carrier database in the UK. So now, the Samsung Galaxy A16 is turning up everywhere in the headlines. Here’s what we’ve learned about it thus far.
UK’s carrier network EE didn’t just list a single model code for the A16. There were at least nine different ones, all inbound for their region. Each is unique in SIM slots, 5G, and 4G connectivity options. ‘DUOS,’ in most of these product titles, means Dual SIM.
Here are all the possible Galaxy A16 variants, followed by their model numbers:

Nothing specific came out of EE’s database. But we are now certain of separate 5G and 4G variants of the Samsung Galaxy's future 4G smartphone. And that each of those has a different chipset. It’s nothing they haven’t tried before. Galaxy A15 followed tradition and debuted with Helio G99 (4G) and a Dimensity 6100+ (5G).
You can expect Galaxy A16 to do the same. There’s also speculation of an AMOLED 90Hz screen. And there’s a chance of a 50 MP camera if it follows on the heels of the Galaxy A15. Their aged A15 may be the foundation for Galaxy A16’s design and specs. You can expect an equal or better user experience with this newer iteration.
