The company has finally unveiled the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy A24. The device is the final addition to Samsung's Awesome Galaxy A lineup for 2023. The official announcement came via the company's station in Vietnam, which has listed the smartphone on its website along with detailed specifications and captivating previews.

The Galaxy A24 boasts a stunning 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution peaking at FHD+ 1080p. The screen also sports a sleek waterdrop notch to bear a 13MP selfie shooter.

Highlights on Samsung Vietnam's website did not include details about the phone's refresh rate, but rumors hint at a 90Hz smooth motion display. The phone sports Android 13 x OneUI 5.1 bundled with all the latest software features that the rest of the Galaxy A family has.

Samsung is very particular about the performance segregation between its devices and ranks them accordingly. Galaxy A24 should perform better than Galaxy A13, thanks to MediaTek's Helio G99 chip. It is 4G-enabled and clocks at a max speed of 2.2GHz. Paired with 6-8GB RAM, Samsung's latest budget model will bring full-fledged 128GB inbuilt storage expandable via MicroSD card.

In line with the rest of Galaxy AX4 devices, Galaxy A24 brings a camera trio on the back with a minimal sleek frame. The lenses include a 50MP alpha cam with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide secondary sensor, and a 2MP macro as an auxiliary unit.

Under the hood, a 5000mAh cell energizes the phone's hardware. With a standard 25W fast charging kit, the phone plugs in using a Type-C port. Galaxy A24's default shades include black, burgundy, green, and silver. Nothing has surfaced yet about the phone's pricing details and availability.
