The leak-ville strikes again, and this time, they've got the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A25 in their crosshairs. Thanks to Android Headlines, we have now caught a glimpse of Galaxy A25, showcasing a design that Samsung enthusiasts will find familiar, yet with a fresh twist.
The notable new addition here is a textured pattern on the back, a departure from the previously seen CAD renders a few months back. Another change is the introduction of a new color variant, as light blue replaces the dark red of the Galaxy A24.
Other design elements stick to the standard Samsung template for 2023, including three vertically aligned individual camera sensors at the rear and all the buttons conveniently located on the right side.
Some might view the textured backplate as less than premium, but it ultimately comes down to individual preferences. However, it's worth noting that the front side of the Samsung 4G new model remains unchanged, reminding users of the device's budget-friendly nature with those not-so-subtle bezels and an intrusive notch.
Specs-wise, the Galaxy A25 won't see a significant overhaul. It will draw power from the Exynos 1280 chipset, known for its efficiency, replacing the MediaTek chip in the Galaxy A24. With the launch slated in early 2024, the Galaxy A25 will come equipped with Android 14 and One UI 6.1 if it follows the A24's release pattern.
What truly sets the Samsung Galaxy A25 apart is its commitment to ongoing support. Building on the Galaxy A24's legacy of four major OS upgrades and five years of security updates, the Galaxy A25 will follow suit, making it a standout choice in the sub-$300 smartphone market.
