The Korean Giant is already working on the next addition to its A-series, the Samsung Galaxy A25. Even though the Galaxy A24 was only introduced in April this year, rumors about its successor have already begun to circulate. A recent Geekbench listing has shed some light on the possible specifications of the Galaxy A25 5G.
The Geekbench listing identified the Galaxy A25 5G with the model number SM-A256B. According to the benchmark, the phone bears an octa-core Exynos 1280 SoC and will come with 8GB of RAM. It will run Android 13 with Samsung's One UI skin right out of the box. The device scored 937 and 2106 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
CAD renders have shown that the phone will feature a 6.44-inch display with a waterdrop notch. The back of the device will house a triple-lens camera complemented by an LED flash. Security features include a side-facing fingerprint sensor mounted within the power key alongside the volume rocker.
A separate report indicates that the Galaxy A25 will sport a 50MP primary camera at the back, identical to its predecessor, the Galaxy A24. A 13MP front-facing camera is also on the horizon. Audio options include a single speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack in the new Samsung budget model.
The device will measure 162 x 77.5 x 8.3mm, making it a moderately sized smartphone. The Galaxy A25 is creating buzz well ahead of its anticipated release next year. While the Galaxy A24 broke cover this April, the A25 is not expected until next year, giving fans something affordable to look forward to in 2024.
