Samsung Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 Coming Soon to Pakistan; Teasers Live on Facebook

Samsung is finally bringing its latest Galaxy A series to Pakistan next. Official teasers have started rolling out on social media and the company’s local webpage. Soon, a formal launch date will be announced in the country to make the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 official.

Galaxy A56 5G is the top-tier model, expected to land in Pakistan as a 256GB storage variant wired with either 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. Galaxy A36 will also join the release, but its memory options are kept hidden on the official website. The same goes for Galaxy A26 5G with storage and RAM unspecified on the company’s webpage. Fortunately, the rest of their specs are already public knowledge, so here’s what you should know about each device.

Samsung Galaxy A56 5G

This phone has the most potent hardware among all three. Galaxy A56 is a 1080p Super AMOLED handset with qualities like a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+. Its size is also decent at 6.7” diagonal, and the brightness on this panel maxes out at 1900 nits. That’s almost double the HBM compared to last year.

Galaxy A56 is an Aluminium frame IP67-rated device with only 7.4mm profile. It encloses a 5000mAh battery with 45W charging support. There are dual speakers, up to 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM in the top configuration. Then we have the improved image processing for the cameras and limited hardware upgrade.

The 50 MP main OIS unit on the back is rehashed, but now it has Best Face feature and grain-free Nightography modes. The rear second lens is a 12 MP Ultrawide, and the third is a 5 MP macro. A 12 MP front camera on the new model can do 10-bit HDR recording, so the video quality might be better.

Samsung has scaled up the processing by replacing the old Exynos 1480 chip with an Exynos 1580. It came with Android 15 OS to boot, and thanks to the upgraded chip, Samsung guarantees 6-year OS support with Galaxy A56.

Samsung Galaxy A36 5G

Galaxy A36 has the very same display as A56 with 1080p resolution, 1900 nits brightness, and a 6.7” size. A 120Hz refresh rate and even Gorilla Glass Victus+ are provided here for safety. Still, slightly thicker bezels and no HDR10+ rating make the Galaxy A36 less premium in comparison.

This is a plastic body with 7.4mm thickness. It keeps the same IP67 rating as the other model and there’s no power difference either as A36 brings a 5000mAh battery and 45W charging. Still, the phone will probably drain quicker due to the less efficient Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip.

The camera here is a 50 MP Main unit with OIS. 8 MP rear ultrawide is the second lens, and the tertiary shooter is a 5 MP macro. The selfie lens on the front is a 12 MP with 10-bit HDR recording. Samsung gave it the same under-display fingerprint ID, Android 15 to boot, and a 6-year OS support as well.

Samsung Galaxy A26 5G

Galaxy A26 is the least powerful of all three. But it’s still a perfect fit for an entry-tier segment with an Exynos 1380 (5nm) chip and almost the same display as the others, meaning a 6.7” 120Hz super AMOLED panel at 1080p FHD+ resolution. This one also has a Gorilla Glass Victus+ but no HDR10+ or high brightness support.

This phone at least has an SD card slot, unlike the others. The base trim for this phone is also 6 GB with 128 GB storage. There’s no 12 GB RAM option or WiFi 6 available here, but it does have the same 5000mAh battery. A26’s charging speed is dropped to 25W.

It’s a traditional notch-style panel. There’s no under-display fingerprint on Galaxy A26, but it does provide one mounted on the side. This phone’s camera has a 50 MP main OIS sensor and a 13 MP selfie on the front. Those other lenses on the back are an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro.

Even with inferior hardware, the Galaxy A26 promises 6-year OS updates, and the phone carries One UI 7 right out of the gate. Samsung plans to deploy all three devices in Pakistan soon. We now wait for the company to unveil the series’ launch dates, storage options, and pricing in the next few days. Stay tuned for full coverage upon Galaxy A56, A36, and A26’s arrival in Pakistan.
