Samsung still has Galaxy A26, A36, and A56 devices unreleased for this year’s A-series, but you can be sure that one of them will be launched soon. The Galaxy A26 is on its way and could launch in a matter of days. While the launch is fast approaching, the rumor mill has been keeping track of all its moves.
A set of new renders recently cropped up on the internet starring the Galaxy A26, giving a full frontal view of the phone and unraveling the possible color options in the mix. This was only made possible thanks to the leaker Arsène Lupin on X.
It seems the Galaxy A26 is sticking with the notch in 2025 as well. Given the side and top bezels have been trimmed ever so slightly, the chin remains as thick as ever. The screen borders will be noticeably non-uniform from the looks of it. These official-looking renders show the A26 in full black, light pink, and light blue colorways.
Another shocking development is the full facelift on the rear side. This Samsung A latest model is also joining the siblings in its revamped and unified camera system. It has the same vertical camera strip on the back where cameras are stacked under the glass instead of individual silos on the back.
That’s not all. Galaxy A26 even has the Key Island design protruding from the right side to engulf the volume rocker and the power/fingerprint ID. Previous leaks reported some other noticeable improvements as far as the internal specs are concerned. Here’s a brief overview.
From what we’ve heard so far, the A26 either uses a 6.65” or a 6.7” FHD+ 1080p panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. And yes! It will be an AMOLED screen. Its forerunner had an 8.3mm thickFness, which has also gone down with this new iteration. The A26 is 7.7mm now, a massive generation-to-generation improvement.
Thickness might have gone down, but the leaks foreshadow a slight increase in weight. It seems Galaxy A26 now measures 209g instead of 197g. Albeit, there won’t be a noticeable difference for the average user. The launch date hasn’t been released yet. We’ll keep an eye out for other details and try to keep you in the loop. Stay tuned!
