Samsung has finally released the much-awaited March 2024 security update for its Galaxy A32 model. Initially, the update was only extended to the Galaxy A32 5G, leaving Galaxy A32 users waiting anxiously. However, the company has now addressed this gap by pushing the security patch to the international variant of the Galaxy A32 (SM-A325F).

The software update, marked by the firmware version A325FXXS8DXC1, brings a comprehensive set of security fixes, addressing over 45 issues. Of these, 36 fixes are sourced from Google, while Samsung has contributed almost nine fixes for the device.

Notably, the update enhances device security by addressing various vulnerabilities. But there are no feature or UI upgrades in sight. The March 2024 security patch is currently available for Galaxy A32 users in select countries, including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Users in the mentioned regions can expect to receive a notification prompting them to download and install the update on their Samsung 4G budget mobiles within the next few hours or days. Alternatively, users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Galaxy A32 users in Pakistan can also follow the instructions for quick update checks.

While the Galaxy A32 is presently operating on Android 13 (One UI 5.1.1), Samsung has confirmed that the device will not receive further OS updates, including Android 14 (One UI 6. X) and Android 15 (One UI 7. X). The phone’s two-year software support has expired.

As a result, users considering an upgrade may opt for the newly launched Galaxy A35, which offers enhanced features and better software support of up to 5 years. But the device has yet to launch in Pakistan, so stay tuned for more developments.
