The rollout of the latest Galaxy A-series phones continues. The Galaxy A53 5G recently dropped in India. And now the Galaxy A73 5G and A33 5G (the other two mid-rangers in this line) have also been announced there. These phones should land in Pakistan next, based on a typical Samsung release calendar.
Samsung Galaxy A33
The Galaxy A33, A53, and A73 share an almost identical design. Save for one element: the U-shaped notch cutout blending into the Galaxy A33 display. We’re looking at a 6.4” 1080P AMOLED screen that refreshes at 90Hz and uses Gorilla Glass 5 for extra toughness. The camera embedded in its notch has a 13MP sensor.
We find a quad-lens setup on the back featuring 48MP OIS wide, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP portrait lenses. Everything runs on a 5000 mAh battery and 25W rapid charging. Exynos 1280 handles all processing, 8GB of memory covers multitasking, and 128GB of internal storage is expandable.
The Android 12, IP67 dust and water resistance at a mid-range Samsung mobile price tag, and hidden fingerprint security round it off. You can choose from Black, Blue, Peach, and White colors.
Samsung Galaxy A73
The A73 is currently the most premium mid-range Samsung phone of 2022. Its 6.7” hole-punched AMOLED delivers a sharp 1080P resolution and smooth 120Hz refresh rate while keeping the chin weight to a minimum. A 32 MP front camera and an in-display fingerprint reader are embedded.
We find a cluster of 108MP OIS wide, 12MP ultra-wide, and two 5MP shooters on the back. The Galaxy A73 casing comes in Gray, Mint, and White.
Its battery size, charging power, processor, OS version (and upgrade support) are shared with the Galaxy A33. The same goes for the IP67 rating against dust and water. But you get up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
