In recent weeks, Samsung has updated many of its costly devices and tablets with the December 2022 patch. Higher-end models even swiftly updated the operating systems to Android 13. But budget devices in A-series are not getting the same treatment from the company. Today's article covers the late rollout of the November 2022 patch in Galaxy A33 5G.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G should have received the November update inside Europe last month. However, just like Android-13/October-2022 update, it came late. The chain is currently broadcasting the OTA in Slovenia, Europe. Other regions in the continent will start receiving it shorty.
The November update carries the firmware version "A336BXXU4BVKB," including fixes for over 48 newborn security vulnerabilities. Typical issues aside, the new firmware packs Samsung's latest maintenance mode feature, which hides your data from repair technicians.
After a short round trip in Europe and other slated regions, Korean Inc. will soon take the update to Pakistan. Upon arrival, users of the Samsung 5G new model will receive a notification to start the update. Manually, a simple tap on the "Download and Install" button in Settings> Software Updates will start the installation.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, or simply Galaxy A33 in Pakistan, has already received the Android 13 OS. New OS pairs well with its Exynos 1280 core and Super AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz screen. Nationwide, the phone brings a solo 6+128GB variant. Since the other configurations were out of the affordable category, they didn't land in Pakistan.
It has decent camera stats boasting high-res 48MP OIS, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP portrait lenses. Galaxy A33's palette includes Black, White, Blue, and Peach colors. There's a 5000mAh battery under the shell backed by 25W charging, taking its existing retail price to 62,000 PKR. Its predecessor is also currently available, the Samsung Galaxy A32 4G's Price is currently around PKR 58,000.
