September patch 2024 has reached quite late on the Galaxy A33 5G, but they keep true to their commitment, so this is how the story goes with this new update rollout. We’ve spotted it on the Global and European versions of A33 5G so far, more specifically this update is for SM-A336B and SM-A336E.
There are over 67 security vulnerabilities on the current firmware version of Galaxy A33 that can be exploited, so it’s more than necessary that you update to their new ‘A336BXXSAEXI8’ or ‘A336EDXSAEXI8’ firmware as quickly as possible.
And by the way, one of these will be the firmware code on Galaxy A33 5G in Pakistan as this update reaches your phone. It’s possible that by the time you are reading this, Samsung may have sent the new OTA package to your A33 5G, and to check it out, you can do the following.
Check for the update manually, if you didn’t get an alert, and to do so, all you need to do is go to Settings on your Samsung latest budget phone >> Software Updates >> Check for update. If the changelog and Download & Install buttons show up, you can update your phone with the September 2024 patch.
Those patch updates come out every quarter for the Galaxy A33 5G, so after this update, you’ll probably see the next one in December. Android 15 x One UI 7 update will be coming to A33 5G as this will be the phone’s third major update after Android 14.
