We look forward to this new chapter in Samsung Galaxy A33’s life. This one also sits on the roster for the August 2024 security update. In fact, they have already initialized dropping the update in the Latin American region, and shortly, all the global markets will secure this update.
For those Latin American regions, though, this update first appeared on Galaxy A33s in Brazil. August 2024 update gets the firmware code ‘A336MUBSAEXF2’ for this particular region. Others may differ, depending on what country you use your Galaxy A33 in.
It’s lean on optimizations and more oriented towards securing the OS. So it’s a small 275MB package, easily downloadable. About 50 fixes for the previously discovered vulnerabilities in the system make the August 2024 update necessary.
For the regions mentioned above and the regions to come, the update method is straightforward and you only need to go into Settings. Scroll down to the Software Update and tap Check for Updates. A ‘Download and Install’ button shall appear when the update has reached your Samsung budget 4G mobile.
The update will eventually reach Pakistan, so you can do the same to get your phone updated. Galaxy A33 is a product from 2022. So, out of the box, it had Android 12 and One UI 4.0.
