Samsung Galaxy A34 joins the ongoing spree of July 2024 security updates. It’s slightly late to join the rest of its Galaxy peers, but Samsung remains true to its word. This update has several privacy and security improvements you need to keep the cyber threats at bay.

Many of the European regions are getting the update as we speak. July 2024 firmware has reached Galaxy A34s in Austria, Croatia, France, Ireland, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the UK. Other countries that remain in the continent will get the update soon.

For those in other global markets, Samsung will send the patch your way once the round is complete in Europe. We discovered that the firmware currently in deployment has the serial code ‘A346BXXS8CXG3.’ As with the others, this July 2024 patch has over 50 security fixes for A34’s software.

If you are the proud owner of a Samsung latest 4G handset, you need to head down to Settings > Software Updates > Check for Updates. See if the July 2024 patch has reached your device. Pakistani A34 users can follow the same guide since the update will roll out in our region soon.

If you have been keeping track, the Galaxy A34 is a phone from 2023 that debuted with OneUI 5.1 x Android 13. It got updated to One UI 6 x Android 14 by the year’s end. Then, there was a One UI 6.1 remake in early 2024. It’s likely making headway to an Android 15 x One UI 7.0 update by the year’s end.
