Samsung's mid-range Galaxy A34 is now joining the April 2024 security update roster, following in the footsteps of its sibling, the Galaxy A53. Today, Samsung has rolled out the latest security patch for the Galaxy A34 in Europe. Here’s a quick look at the fixes and enhancements entailed by the update.
Starting with European users, the update is gradually appearing on Galaxy A34 devices. The other regions will see the patch soon. It’s the same pattern we’ve observed with Samsung's recent devices where the company scatters the update with different timelines.
Carrying the build number A346BXXS6BXD1, the April update focuses solely on delivering the most recent security recoveries. This patch incorporates nearly 30 fixes for security vulnerabilities within the Android OS, alongside over 15 fixes tailored specifically for Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets.
While this update may not introduce any flashy new features, Samsung new budget mobile users can anticipate the possibility of the next update bringing an improved version of Samsung's One UI. One UI 6.1, available in select flagship Galaxy devices since late March.
The One UI 6.1 is expected to roll out to more devices in the coming month. To access the April security update on your Galaxy A34, users can simply navigate to Settings » Software update menu on your device and select Download and Install.
