It's already mid-October and Galaxy A35 seems awfully behind schedule to receive the September 2024 security patch when others in the category have been getting the October patch these days. But still, Samsung kept true to its word and we hear this September update is finally on a roll across Europe.
Their new firmware for the Galaxy A35 has a code ‘A356BXXS3AXI3’ or at least that’s what we spotted in this European update cycle. There is no performance boost or bug fixes in the September 2024 patch but it does fix some security threats in the current One UI.
The dominos will start to fall after this update has reached all A35s in Europe and they might broadcast it to more continents in the days ahead. It will eventually ping Galaxy A35 phones in Pakistan shortly and then you can follow just a few simple steps to install it.
First, check if this update has reached your Samsung newest budget model, and to do that, you’ll navigate to Setting >> Software Update >> Check for Updates. If a prompt opens up to ‘Download and Install,’ that will mean the OTA patch is ready, and tapping the button should start the installation.
October’s update package has already made it to the Galaxy A55, so we’ll see A35 join the bandwagon soon after it has wrapped up the September patch roundup. It’s uncertain when, but we’ll eventually see both phones hit the Android 15 One UI 7 in a few months.
