Samsung Galaxy A36 & A56 Launch Nears as Official Support Pages Go Live

We are about two months away from the Galaxy A56/A36 debut and the support pages have already gone live for both models under SM-A566B/DS and SM-A366B/DS. Samsung France updated its database on the official regional website.

France will be one of the first countries to welcome this duo and “DS” means that both models are dual-SIM supported. Of course, Samsung Galaxy A36 and A56 will debut in more regions, but we might need more tangible details about their launch before claiming anything with certainty.

The support pages had nothing mention-worthy, regarding specs, but for several weeks in the past, the leakers have been tracking these handsets, and surely enough, we have plenty of details about both. Let’s talk about A36 first. Rumor has it that Samsung shortened its screen from 6.64” to 6.6.”

TheTechOutlook seems to believe that the Samsung 5G new model, A36 will either grab Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or SD 7s Gen 2 from Qualcomm. Either way, the performance and efficiency will surpass the old Exynos 1380 SoC inside Galaxy A35. You can even look forward to some design tweaks.

Galaxy A56 should scale up performance with Samsung’s new Exynos 1580, and even bump the max RAM capacity to 12 GB. It’s not jsut a guess. This has been confirmed by Geekbench several weeks ago. Another thing A56 will tweak is the charging, from A55’s 25W to about double the speed at 45W. From now till the launch, we’ll probably hear more about the devices from the rumor mill, so stick around and keep up-to-date.
