Samsung Galaxy A36 New Renders Confirm Camera Redesign & Four Color Options

Samsung Galaxy A36 has also been leaked with color options after the A56’s exposé in all four of its finishes. The renders we found on the internet spill not only the full frontal view of the device but also confirm the new camera island and most importantly, the four color variants for Galaxy A36.

Surprisingly, the leaker behind these images is the same as A56’s leaked 360-animated GIFs. Evan Blass from OnLeaks has sourced his insiders to reveal Galaxy A36 in Olive, Purple, White, and Black Color choices. Of course, these aren’t the actual marketing names for these options. Samsung will come up with its own creative titles for the variants.

As you can tell already by looking at these mockups, A36 and A56 are two peas in a pod with almost the same look. If you squint hard enough you’ll notice some dissimilarity, but they are identical in terms of the new and polished camera build with a single vertical strip instead of three individual pills on the back.

Galaxy A36 also inherits the very same Key Island from A35, but it’s barely protruding out this time. Let’s talk about the front view, where the A36 actually cuts some costs to be cheaper than the A56. We can see even in the renders that bezels aren’t entirely symmetrical. Based on the Samsung rate list, the A36 is positioned as a more budget-friendly alternative in the lineup.

Where Samsung usually positions the Galaxy A3x devices should be treated with some premium symmetric AMOLED displays. Nevertheless, the rest of its spec sheet, or at least what we found from certifications and leaks, is quite promising for a device in the mid-range category.

FCC regulating the electronics in the USA tested the A36 with 25W wired charging support, but another certification passed the A36 with 45W charging, which is a claim backed by leakers as well. It’s a clash, we know, but let’s keep optimistic about the hardware upgrades in this year’s lineup.

It’s been made clear by Geekbench that the Samsung Galaxy A56 and A36 will operate on Android 15 x One UI 7, the latest from Samsung. The upper-tier sibling will use the Exynos 1580 chip. Down the ladder, the A36 has been tested with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 by Geekbench. Galaxy A36 could be an iPhone SE 4 competitor if Samsung prices it right. Expectedly, it might cost around $400 just like last year, so keep your wallets ready if you plan to buy it.
