This year, Samsung has introduced a host of new high-end features to their mid-range line — not to mention a more premium-looking design.
The A72 gets the most upgrades. Its shell is made of plastic, but with a satin-matte finish all around it. The Exynos chips give way to the Snapdragon 720G and 750G for the LTE and 5G editions, respectively.
New Samsung Mobiles have integrated optical image stabilization into the camera system. The A72 includes an 8MP telephoto lens that offers 3x optical and up to 30x digital zoom. The display is a 6.7” panel that now peaks at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Based on the product listing on the Indonesian web store, the Galaxy A72 comes in two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB. The base version starts from $416 (Rs. 65,400), and the top-end version costs $444 (Rs. 69,800.)
Samsung Galaxy A52, just like the A72, gets an IP67 rating. It also has OIS support but no telephoto camera. Depending on the 4G or the 5G version, the A52 has either a 90Hz screen or a 120Hz SuperAMOLED panel. The Snapdragon 720G/750G chipset configuration is the same as the Galaxy A72. Similarly, the Galaxy A52 and A72 come with 25W chargers in the box, stereo speakers, the latest OneUI 3, and support for storage expansion.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 4G will be available in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB options. The base version is priced at $347 (Rs. 54,500), and the high-end variant starts from $374 (Rs. 58,800.) Note that the LTE edition of the A52 is slated for the Pakistani market."
