Samsung just revealed its newest mid-range Galaxy A series entry in Pakistan. The Galaxy A52s 5G was officially announced on the brand’s social media pages. They’re also throwing in a free 10,000 mAh battery pack with every order for the early birds.
The Galaxy A52s 5G features a stunning 6.5” Super AMOLED screen. It peaks at a comfortable 800 nits of brightness and a sharp 1080P resolution. Samsung has built a certified blue light filter into the display to prevent eye strain.
A single O-hole punched through the panel houses the phone’s 32MP front camera. Also embedded in it is a standard optical fingerprint scanner. Gorilla Glass 5 toughens the screen.
The camera system is a quad-lens array: one 64MP wide camera powered by OIS, a 5MP macro lens, a 12MP 123° ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP portrait camera. The optical image stabilization delivers flagship-grade low-light photos, not to mention shake-free videos.
The OIS isn’t the only premium feature here. The Galaxy A52s 5G has secured an IP67 rating against dust and water. It can withstand 30 minutes in 1 meter of water. In other words, if you spill anything on it, the phone can be washed. Plus, Dolby Atmos speakers provide a stereo surround sound experience.
Samsung is reluctant to outright name the chip, but the engine inside is the 6nm Snapdragon 778 5G. The Galaxy A52s 5G comes in two variants based on internal space and 8 GB of RAM to handle all your multitasking needs.
It’s all powered by a beefy 4500 mAh battery that quickly charges at 25W over the wire. The latest OneUI runs on this hardware. The handset comes in two Storage variants in Pakistan: 128Gb and 256GB. While Samsung hasn’t shared the availability and pricing details yet for either, the Galaxy A52s 128GB is retailing at some selected outlets for PKR 81,000.
