The certification cycle for the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G and A33 5G continues as Samsung secures product clearances from the Indonesian government. The two phones have already been featured on an official Samsung website — hinting at the upcoming launch of the duo.

You can find the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G listed on the Indonesian SDPPI database under the model numbers “SM-A536E” and “SM-A336E,” respectively. Since they’re simple connectivity certifications, they do not reveal any useful system specs.

But the Galaxy A53 5G has already been featured on the American FCC, Chinese TENNA, and Thailand’s NBTC websites. These listings are far more telling. Per the certified specs, the A53 5G will be offered in 6GB and 8GB memory options — both paired with 128GB of expandable internal storage. Everything runs on the Exynos 1200 chip and a 5000 mAh battery.

Expected to join the Samsung price list soon, the display of the A53 is a 6.5” 1080P SuperAMOLED. Plus, the camera features a 64MP+12MP+5MP+5MP lens array. Rumor also has it that Samsung has removed the headphone jack from the Galaxy A53.

The A33 5G has also made rounds on other government databases. But its specs remain a mystery for the most part. The chip is also MediaTek Dimensity silicon, presumably on the lower end. The 5000 battery offers 25W charging support. Also, Samsung has secured an IP67 rating against dust and water for the Galaxy A33 5G this year.
