The sequel to Samsung's popular Galaxy A52 — while not officially confirmed — is coming soon. The upcoming Galaxy A53 will debut in late February or early March. In the meantime, Samsung is securing product certifications for the Galaxy A53.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G was featured on the Thai NBTC agency under the model number “SM-A536E/DS.” The phone comes in dual SIM and single SIM variants. The single edition has passed the American FCC database. The NBTC listing is a simple connectivity certificate, so it doesn’t specify specs.

But the FCC directory gives us the charging specs. Samsung ships the Galaxy A53 with a 25W charging brick. The Chinese TENNA and the Bluetooth SIG authorities have already signed off on the Galaxy A53 5G. The TENNA certifications are far more revealing.

We’re looking at a 6.46” AMOLED screen featuring a 1080P resolution with a high refresh rate. The chip inside the Samsung A-series new model is the Exynos 1200. 6GB/8GB of memory and 128GB/256GB of storage round off the platform. Everything runs on a 5000 mAh battery and Android 12 x One UI OS.

The camera system is made of 64MP wide-angle, 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP portrait, 5MP macro, and 32MP selfie shooters. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes in four colors: black, white, orange, and blue. We’ll learn more when Samsung officially unveils the phone this month.
