Samsung Galaxy A53 is the upcoming sequel to one of Samsung’s best-selling smartphones this year. Its official launch is still months away, but the rumor mill has managed to uncover every last detail about the phone. New reports crop up every week. The latest in this string of leaks brings us an alleged marketing image.
Courtesy of the Twitter-based phone leaker @FrontTron, the press image showcases the Galaxy A53 in four smooth matte-finished colors. The black, white, and blue shades haven’t changed from the Samsung Galaxy A52. But the A53 also comes in a new attractive ‘Coral Orange’ color. It appears more amber or beige than orange though.
Samsung has also redesigned the camera island slightly. Instead of a chrome bezel casing, the camera rectangle melts into the A53 backplate. The design turns the phone into a seamless one-piece shell. The Oppo Find X3 Pro could have inspired it.
In related news, the Galaxy A53 was also featured in a Galaxy Club post. The European publication commented, citing industry sources based in Korea, on Samsung's new phone model's battery capacity. Inside the Galaxy A53, we find a 5000 mAh cell (model number “EB-BA536ABY”) that’s rated 4860 mAh.
The battery size has grown compared to the 4500 mAh cell that powers the Galaxy A52 series. But it’s not all good news for Galaxy A fans. Having lopped off the audio port from their entire flagship smartphone line, Samsung is now dropping the 3.5mm headphone jack in the Galaxy A53 too.
