People with a Galaxy A54 in several European countries already had that October 2024 upgrade for their handsets a few days ago when we learned that this patch update is only here to fix security bugs. It was about time they also did the same for A54 users in Asia and North America.
It is now rolling out in Asia, so there’s no doubt it will eventually hit Galaxy A54s in Pakistan in a moment. So you ought to look out for this October update, specifically its firmware code that will resemble ‘A546EXXSACXI3.’ You will see it in the changelog when they ping the update to your phone.
Just like we said before, you will see no new features or even a performance uptick with this update, but it will give your phone more security. They found over 42 weak points in their current firmware version. They tried to fix all those with the October patch, so they strongly advise you to install this update.
If you get an alert on your Samsung new budget handset about the October patch, you simply tap on it and it will take you straight to the Download menu. But if someone missed it, they can just go to Settings >> Software Update >> Check of Updates, and it will surely prompt you with a Download and Install button.
Galaxy A54 was at Android 13 when it came out, and then they updated it to Android 14 One UI 6 just by the end of 2023. And probably, by the same time this year, it will grab that new Android 15 and One UI 7.0 firmware.
