There was a long waiting time. But we were counting on this thing to happen. Samsung has finally put all the pieces together in our market. It seems their entire budget AX5 set has become officially available here. Now that they've launched Samsung Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 in Pakistan. The details are below. So read on.

Samsung Galaxy A55

Galaxy A55 has the upper hand performance-wise. You'll get to enjoy snappier actions with this model, that's for sure. It's cause the A55 has a newer Exynos 1480 platform grinding away in its hull. Get 8 GB RAM plus 256 GB storage with it. That is the only configuration you'll get. None of the others are available in Pakistan, unfortunately.

Super AMOLED 6.6" FHD+ 1080p screen, they all impress. A shield of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ keeps it from scratches and scuffs. A 1000 nits brightness and HDR10+ are those things that you'll definitely like. And yes, the refresh rate. It's 120Hz with all bells and whistles.

Cameras top the list of priorities when people are buying Galaxy phones. Samsung knows it, and the Galaxy A55 does it. There's a 50 MP OIS camera in command here. 12 MP wide + 2 MP Maco shooters keep on standby. Then there's a 32 MP selfie cam on the front lines.

A 5000 mAh battery behind the scenes sends power to A55. Find a 25W wired charging kit with this. It will boot up to One UI 6.1 x Android 14, their latest software. The Pakistani price for this one is Rs 130,999.

Samsung Galaxy A35

Galaxy A35 and A55 are most of the time comparable. But some specs are lower in this one. Its Exynos 1380 SoC is a good example. That chip and the integrated GPU are one year old. Still, an 8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM are the same as the A55.

A35 also has a super AMOLED 6.6" screen. Get a 120Hz refresh rate with it plus 1080p resolution. But you'll miss the HDR10+ rating. An IP67 rating will cover even if you buy a Galaxy A35. You'll not get the same picture quality as A55 because A35's 50MP unit will not capture as much light. Also, the wide camera has less resolution at only 8MP.

A35 does plenty with that 13MP selfie camera like 4K @30fps recording. You'll also find that the A35 and A55 have battery stats in common. 5000 mAh x 25W Fast charging. Android 14 runs on it too. But the A35's price is a little lower. This one will cost you about Rs 114,999 in Pakistan.
