Well, that high premium for the Samsung Galaxy A55 does come with a few perks. And monthly security updates are one of those many perks you pay for. That’s not to say it will happen consistently. They are barely hanging on to that promise as it is. But, so far, it has been true.
June’s ending shortly. And they’ve only begun the deployment of the June 2024 security package. They‘ve been at it for months, and there’s an obvious pattern there. Galaxy A55’s update was late in April. It was late in May, almost at the closing of every month. June’s package was not different, but at least it’s out now.
We presume the June 2024 security patch will eventually reach global A55 after Europe. But we don’t know when exactly. Still, it was interesting to know that the package has fixes for over 59 security vulnerabilities. It’s part of the firmware coded ‘A556BXXS3AXF2.’
When it reaches your Samsung 5G new mobile in Pakistan, the update is pretty easy to install. You’ll need to visit Settings » Software update » and Check for Updates. And if it's available tap Download and Install and let your mobile reboot. After that, you’re all set.
Their late update spree will live on until they figure out their new automated updating system called Seamless Updates. Galaxy A55 is the first device that has this function built in. But we hear the development of this technique has been challenging. Still, we can imagine the monthly OTAs becoming a standard ahead.
