Samsung Galaxy A55 Inches Closer to Launch; Approved by Malaysian Certifier SIRIM

The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy A55 is slowly making its way to the market, and a recent sighting on the Malaysian certification platform, SIRIM, suggests that the official launch is just around the corner. Here’s everything we know so far about the device. 


Galaxy A55, identified by the model number SM-A556E/DS, appeared on the online SIRIM database, leaving clues about its impending arrival. While the SIRIM listing didn't disclose specifications, previous leaks & certifications, including TENAA, NBTC, MIIT, FCC, and TKDN, have hinted at what the Galaxy A55 might offer.

According to recent leaks, the Galaxy A55 will pack an AMOLED 6.5-inch display with a potential 120Hz refresh rate. The front camera may include a 32MP shooter, delivering high-quality selfies. Towards the rear, it may boast a powerful 50MP triple camera setup. Assisting the primary camera will likely be a wide-angle lens and a depth-sensing unit. 


Under the hood, the Galaxy A55 will likely run on the Exynos 1480 SoC, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Anticipate the Samsung latest 4G mobile in multiple attractive color options, including Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy Blue finishes. 

While an official launch date is yet to be confirmed, industry insiders suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A55 could make its debut next month. As with any leaks, it's advisable to take this information with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for official updates as the launch date approaches.
