Another day, another update by Samsung, because they are now rolling out the September patch to Galaxy A55, and as we talk about it, this update is furthering into more regions. This September 2024 patch is more a security fix than a system optimizer, but it is still worth the install.
A556EXXS4AXH4 is the build number that came with this update in our first sightings, but it will change depending on the region or your A55 variant. But don’t worry because they won’t differ functionally.
This is a fix for more than 60 security loopholes that cyber attackers can take advantage of, and if you want to keep safe, you better watch out for the download through Software Updates. Check for Updates regularly, and that way you’ll be able to grab the September patch as soon as it’s available in Pakistan.
Go to Settings » Software update menu and see if this patch is available in the area, but upon receiving it, your phone will prompt you with a Changelog and ask for about a 219MB download. It won’t take long to download or install. Your Samsung latest budget handset will reboot after that with better security.
This is one of the final builds of One UI 6.1.1 because they have One UI 7 in the test phase, and it will also come to Galaxy A55 just like they promised. There is also a possibility that A55 will get some more AI features within the next mega update.
