Details about the Samsung Galaxy A56 are getting less blurry the closer we get to the launch, and even if it's months away, there’s no stopping the rumor mill to unearth all its secrets. Some camera specs of the phone emerged in a leak again with a few other details you might be interested in.

Samsung wants to keep using the same config we’ve seen over the years with every A5X phone: 50 MP main + 12 MP ultrawide + 5 MP macro. They may change the sensor types to some newer versions, but the resolutions on paper don’t seem to change that much.

But there’s definitely a noticeable change coming with its selfie camera. They want to replace the old 32 MP front lens with a 12 MP shooter like we mostly see in their Galaxy S line. It may seem to you as a downgrade at first, but think how better the selfies are on the S series even with the smaller 12 MP sensors.

This will surely pick up the severely lacking cam quality for the A series. Aside from all that, there are some more details you ought to know about the Samsung latest budget handset. There was a Geekbench listing for this phone earlier. It said that A56 will use the new Exynos 1580 chip.

People have been very excited about this prospect because the Exynos 1580 could be close to the performance of the Snapdragon 888. Geekbench is witness to this, as A56 scored 1341 points single and 3836 points multicore. They might also give this phone 6-year OS support, expectedly pricing it around  €450–€500.
