Samsung Galaxy A56 Pops Up on MIIT and TENAA Certifications with Official Renders

Samsung Galaxy A56 is fast approaching, hence the sudden surge in leaks and reports about the device. We have some new details to share with you, as the phone cleared certifications on MIIT and TENNA overnight and finally gave away its design to the excited fans.

China’s MIIT passed the phone’s global SM-A5660 model. The same goes for the regional TENAA certification. The details we share in this piece also apply to the international A56 variant. Here’s a rundown of what MIIT reveals about Galaxy A56.

The listing says that the A56 was tested with a 4905 mAh battery, although the number Samsung wants to advertise is typically 5000 mAh. It will be their first A series phone with a 5G eMBB connection to its better cross-network roaming and you’ll see the usual 5G antenna bands.

Stable Android 15 x One UI 7 will hit the scene way before Galaxy A56’s debut. As MIIT reveals today, the new budget Samsung mobile will carry the same Android version out of the box. TENAA revealed some of the same details but also exposed what the A56 looks like and tested its charging speed.

Galaxy A56 has a 5000mAh battery (as both platforms confirmed). TENAA finally puts the suspicions to rest by stating 45W fast charging — the very first time on a Galaxy A device. Design has changed as you can tell. The cameras are now encapsulated in a vertical module, and the sides have become very flat.
