The triple-pill camera design has gotten boring, and Samsung could be making a switch with the next Galaxy A56. Some CAD-based renders are going viral, and they show what would become of this phone, design-wise. One key change that we noticed in these renders was a continuous topology where all three cameras exist in one place.
It still maintains the classic Samsung design philosophy, and this new look doesn’t change much. If anything, this build looks even more appealing with all three lenses contained in a black continuous oval stripe placed on top of the rear glass. Of course, the “Key Island” will also migrate from the older to the newer A56 handset.
The renders from Android Headlines also help us focus on the front design, and it seems A56’s bezels are more streamlined this time. They’ve stretched its screen, and the borders are narrower and uniform from all sides. That chin looks thicker than the other sides, but that could be an anomaly in the renders.
These are no official renders of Galaxy A56, but they are the closest representation of what we’ve heard and seen so far, and this new design is legitimately coming your way. It was about time the company did something to differentiate its mid-range and flagship segment.
They’ve also planned some other upgrades with A56, like the support for better 45W wired charging and a faster CPU with Exynos 1580. With this chip getting similar scores to an SD 888, they want to keep its performance as close as possible to their flagship series without letting it cross the boundary.
