Galaxy A56 will launch this year, sometime in the first quarter. As usual, the rumor mill is tracking this device every step of the way, sharing details about its hardware as soon as it hits the internet. We have a new leak to report today with specs, pricing, RAM, and charging speed.
Samsung’s Galaxy A56 got leaked on X by a tipster with the handle @TheGalox, and we found some interesting details in his post. It’s a massively improved phone with upgrades in hardware and design, and the source also gave away its expected price tag.
Historically, none of the A series devices from the segment allowed more than 25W charging, but the Galaxy A56 might be the first with a 45W input. This will cut the phone’s charging time in half. Although it has a long way to go compared to the Chinese devices, this is a step in the right direction.
The leaker also tipped a 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED screen for the Samsung new budget mobile, which is supposed to be an upgrade over the A55’s non-HDR10+ super AMOLED panel. Now, this phone can show you HDR10+ content at an even higher brightness level.
Galaxy A56’s build will use the same Aluminium side rails and glass back again. Its performance will upscale dramatically as Samsung upgrades the chip from Exynos 1480 to Exynos 1580. It might come in 8 GB and 12 GB variants and Android 15 OS to boot.
A56’s rear camera will be the same as before, but the selfie camera is downsized to 12MP instead of the usual 32MP. £439 (~PKR 155,000) is the expected price for the base Galaxy A56. Of course, some of these details are rudimentary, so we advise waiting for more sources to corroborate the leak.
